15 Famous Speeches brings together some of history's most momentous speeches from a wide range of historical eras and nations.

The anthology consists of speeches covering many different subjects. The male speakers are: A defence lawyer, a baptist minister, politicians, and former Presidents. Women speakers include a queen,  a sufragette, and a former Prime Minister. 

15 famous speeches are given by  British, American, Indian, and South African speakers. Included in the anthology you will find excerpts from  Barack Obama's Victory speech on the 4th of November, 2008 and his Inaugural Address on the 20th of January, 2009. 

The audio-recordings, which are integrated in the text files, are either authentic or recorded by native speakers.

Each speech is accompanied by an introduction in which you will find a presentation of the speaker as well as information about the historical background.
